Introduction of Against the Gods

This animation is adapted from the novel of the same name written by a famous network writer Mars Gravity (火星引力) , describing a youth name XIAO Che who was born with damaged profound veins which stop him from training. He is determined and adventurous and keeps training and improving when his family is crudely oppressed, and his friends are bullied. He finally grows into a person who successfully guards and protects his beloved, which does not limit him, instead, he gradually raises the sense that “the stronger you are, the more responsibilities you need to bear. While human races are attacked and oppressed by the demon races, he, therefore, carries out the mission to fight against the demon races, leading human races to defeat invaders.

The story builds its setting in the alternative reality with a step-by-step narration, by presenting the adventures and growth of the main character. Taking “protection and guards” as the core, a proactive main character—XIAO Che has been described. He dares to face challenges and breaks through—a unique devoted youth who connects various sects and is unbuttoned and chivalric.
